Nestled in the heart of Pigeon Forge, Brick and Spoon offers a brunch and breakfast experience that artfully blends Southern comfort with innovative twists. This charming eatery specializes in dishes that celebrate fresh, flavorful ingredients with a creative flair, making it a standout destination for morning and midday meals.
The menu is a delightful journey through both sweet and savory favorites carefully crafted to satisfy all cravings. Popular plates like the Shrimp & Grits showcase Gulf shrimp sautéed with red and green bell peppers in a rich garlic cream sauce atop fire-roasted corn grits, crowned with a perfectly poached egg and served with toast points — a comforting, hearty dish that bursts with deep, layered flavors. Another standout is the indulgent Shrimp & Tasso Mac’n’Cheese, where Gulf shrimp and smoky tasso meet creamy smoked gouda mornay sauce blended with cavatappi pasta, delivering a playful yet sophisticated taste.
For those who appreciate classic breakfast staples, Brick and Spoon’s lineup is equally compelling. The Killer Creole Omelet delivers a punch with Gulf shrimp, tasso, fresh peppers, onions, and cheddar topped with housemade hollandaise, while the Bayou Benedict offers a softer, luxurious take on traditional eggs benedict, featuring soft, fluffy biscuits paired with savory, bold flavors. Sweet tooths will find bliss in the Banana Foster French Toast, a decadent treat swirling with caramelized bananas, Foster sauce, and crunchy pecans — a dish that easily steals the spotlight.
The drink program complements the menu beautifully. From custom-made Bloody Marys bursting with unique garnishes and flavors to bright, refreshing Berry and Mango Mimosas that brighten up any morning, Brick and Spoon thoughtfully pairs beverages to elevate each meal. Rebecca Hall’s praise of the mango mimosa as her “favorite” captures the irresistible charm of their creative cocktails.
The dining atmosphere at Brick and Spoon balances warmth and openness. Guests step into a large, bright space that feels lively yet intimate, perfect for enjoying a leisurely brunch or catching up over breakfast. While the interior space is cozy, some mention that the seating arrangement can feel close-knit, creating a communal vibe that some find endearing and others a bit snug, but the welcoming staff’s attentive service quickly makes everyone feel right at home.
Customer testimonials speak volumes about the consistent quality and friendly ambiance. We love this place! It is a must anytime we visit Pigeon Forge. Im not a Bloody Mary fan but looking at the ones they make are amazing. The mango mimosa is my favorite. The food is amazing! I haven't had anything i dont like there.
Best food during our whole trip. The beignets weren't overly sweet and came with great flavorful fruit. The biscuits with the Bayou Benedict were very soft and fluffy. The dining room is a large open area, but not too loud.
One word...SWEET! Brick and Spoon has a wonderful menu filled with both sweet and savory options but we went with sweet this time and do not regret it! My husband got the French toast sticks and said they were delicious but the star of the morning was my meal which was the bananas foster French toast! This did not disappoint from the bananas to the foster sauce to the pecans it was a flavor explosion! The coffee was decent, especially compared to the hotel coffee I had earlier in the morning. Our server (whose name I cant remember but he looked like a body builder) was attentive and very nice. Food came out quick and came out hot. Even though the place was packed, we had no wait to get a table and it wasn't so loud that you couldn't talk. 10/10 would go again!
Food was really good and not super expensive. The team cooking and delivering our food was very welcoming and the food came out rather quickly!!! The only thing I can say negative about this place is it is smaller on the inside and we was rather close to other tables making it feel like we was dinning with them as well.
Unique breakfast/lunch and drinks spot. Very original ingredients for lots of flavor. French toast sticks were excellent, but kinda expensive for what they are. The breakfast tacos are a pretty good, brain expecting savory but getting sweet is a little hard to get used too though. The Killer Creole omelet was just ok, but I'm not a fan of holllandaise sauce, and some of the shrimp weren't all the way cleaned. Their own hot sauce is decent, basically a Cholula sauce. Coffee is basic, service was really slow at start with almost no one in the restaurant. Mixed drinks look good, but didn't get any. Cheap hard metal chairs unfortunately.
Amazing breakfast place ! The staff made the experience even better . Clean place , great service , and absolutely friendly staff . I recommend Brick & Spoon, and I’ll definitely visit again when I’m in the city. Their coffee is different story Thanks for everything, from welcoming us in to the thanks for visiting us.
